Objective To investigate the effect of repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation on the cognitive function of patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 60 patients with schizophrenia who were treated in our hospital from July 2019 to May 2020 were selected for research. All patients were randomly divided into 30 cases in the observation group and 30 cases in the control group. The control group was given clozapine, and the observation group was given clozapine and rTMS for treatment. The PANSS score, mental status (MMSE) and cognitive function level (MMSE,BACS SC,HVLT-R,BVMT-R,WMS-ⅢSST,Stroop color-word test,WCST) were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results (1)After treatment, the PANSS score in both groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the MMSE score was higher than that before treatment, with significant difference(P<0.05);after treatment, the PANSS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, and the MMSE score was significantly higher than that in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).(2)After treatment,BACS SC,HVLT-R,BVET-R,WMS-ⅢSST,Stroop-word,Stroop-color,Stroop-color word,WCST total correct number, and the number of completed classifications were higher than those before treatment in both groups, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05);the total number of WCST errors, the number of repeated errors, and the number of repeated responses after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were significant (P<0.05).After treatment,BACS SC,HVLT-R,BVET-R,WMS-ⅢSST,Stroop-word,Stroop-color,Stroop-color word,WCST total correct number and the number of completed classifications were significantly higher than those in the control group. The total number of WCST errors, the number of repeated errors, and the number of repeated responses were lower than those in the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy based on drug therapy can significantly improve the schizophrenia score and cognitive function of patients. |
